On July 10, a new Project of TESDA was introduced to the Technical Vocational Institutions (TVI), which are the schools which aims to help increase the employment rate of the Graduates Certified. This was held at TESDA womens center, Taguig which was lead by the TESDA NCR Regional Director, Mr. Conrado G. Bares, CESO IV; Executive Director, Mr. Elmer K. Talavera, NITESD; Chief TESD Specialist Mr. Noel J. Cuevas, LDD-NITESD; Information Technology Officer Mr. Oscar C. Ruma; along with our very own Career TVET ambassador of NCR Ms. Deejae A. Juanta which was facilitated by Acting Chief, NCR- Regional Office Ms. Niña Connie G. Dodd.

" TESDA initiated and developed an application calld "911TESDA". A program to facilitate the productivity of TVET graduates either by wage or self-employment. This program is a voluntary subscription/membership to an online system which consolidates job-ready, certified TVET graduates and workers into a pool from which the D/OSP draws its own skilled workers/ technicians, to match in real-time, for employment and other gainful activities."

The platform contains all of the records about the NC holders (Certified Workers), who shall voluntarily enroll and be a part of the Program to provide Immediate technical services to clients on demand. It was a "BRAIN CHILD" of TESDA Director General Sec .Isidro S. Lapeña, PhD, CSEE when her mother had an emergency of needing a plumber at home. Thus, 911 sa trabaho was born. It was, though, not the first one of its kind. Prior to establishing this idea, 911 Headquarters in davao was already running for different emergency responses in an instance.

Here is how it goes,

a) National certificate holders who have Online Validation from 2017 up to present, shall register at www.911tesda.ph and fill out an enrollment

form to join the pool of

certified workers.

b) TESDA shall handle the pool of datas to be then collected/ chosen by different DOSP (Digital Online Service Providers). Provided with this, TESDA shall maintain the confidentiality of the records for the Graduates' safety.

c) The Certified workers shall undergo on boarding by the DOSP that they shall carry.

d) After completing requirements and training, Certified workers is now ready for deployment.

This is to be launched in July 18 and will only start at metro manila initially with 74 qualifications registered in need of community demand.

In partnership with TESDA and the DOSPs we can provide quality, and excellent service by certified TESDA graduates at our doorstep.

#TeamBaristaCafe was also here to support the event in providing their signature quality coffee to the audience of the conference.
